Glade®, Jasmine Mist™

This artwork is named after a fragrance of air freshener commonly available at the time in British supermarkets. The poetry within the naming of these products inspired McClymont to make a series of works that found the sublime within ordinary objects and products.

Glade®, Jasmine Mist™ is a c-type print taken on photographic negative film. It is a single puff of air freshener in the living room of his childhood home, lit up by photographic flashlight.
